Comedy writer and stand up comedian, Jeff Klein, called in to discuss what got him into standup. We chatted about how writing jokes and performing for rural Florida crowds has shaped his sets and made him a better writer. We talked about the benefits of being a clean comic, his backyard animals (and boy does he have many), and how his husband supports his creative side but doesn't often see him live. We ended this explosive conversation with a fun game of Let's Get Grounded, where he shares the two people he'd sit next to on a long flight. I could have chatted with Jeff all day; it was like sitting down with an old friend over a cup of coffee.
