Author, poet, and educator, Joseph Anthony, came on the show to discuss his latest book, Colors, which is a collection of poetry that anyone who has experienced denial, sadness, anger, strength, love, and happiness will connect with. We discussed LGBTQ Pride and shared our coming out to stories (Spoiler, they are extremely different). We also chatted about what it's like teaching first graders via Zoom, where he gets his writing inspiration, and he was so gracious to read two different poems during the episode.
